Terms and Conditions — Hair Direct ZA

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an order with Hair Direct ZA (hairdirect.co.za). By purchasing from our store, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Company Information

Hair Direct ZA is an online retailer of professional hair replacement systems, operating in the Republic of South Africa. For all queries: hairdirect@gmail.com

2. Orders & Payment

All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.
Payment is required in full at the time of ordering.
We accept major credit/debit cards and EFT via our secure payment gateway.
Orders are only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
Hair Direct ZA reserves the right to cancel any order and issue a full refund at our discretion.

3. Delivery

3.1 Delivery Timeframes

In-stock items: Dispatched within 1–2 business days. Estimated delivery 2–3 business days nationwide via courier.
Made-to-order / factory items: If your selected system is not in stock, it will be ordered directly from our manufacturing partner. Please allow up to 14 business days for production and delivery. You will be notified by email if your order falls into this category.

3.2 Delivery Areas

We deliver to all major centres and most regional areas across South Africa. Remote area surcharges may apply and will be communicated prior to dispatch.

3.3 Tracking

A tracking number will be provided via email once your order has been dispatched. Hair Direct ZA is not liable for delays caused by the courier once the parcel has been handed over.

3.4 Failed Deliveries

If a delivery attempt fails due to an incorrect address or unavailability of the recipient, re-delivery costs will be for the customer's account.

4. Returns & Refunds

4.1 Return Eligibility

Due to the personal and hygienic nature of hair systems, we have a strict returns policy. Returns are accepted only if:

The item is unused and in its original, unaltered condition
The item is returned in its original packaging, with all accessories, care instructions, and documentation included
A return request is submitted within 7 days of delivery

4.2 Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned or refunded:

Any hair system that has been worn, cut, coloured, styled, or altered in any way
Items not in their original packaging
Custom or made-to-order systems (ordered specifically from the factory to your specifications)
Sale or discounted items (unless faulty)

4.3 Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is defective or different from what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

4.4 Return Process

Email hairdirectza@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return
Await written authorisation from our team before sending anything back
Return the item via a tracked courier service — return shipping costs are for the customer's account unless the item is faulty
Once received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method

5. Sizing & Fit Disclaimer

Hair systems are sized products. It is the customer's responsibility to measure correctly before ordering. Hair Direct ZA provides sizing guides on our product pages. We cannot accept returns based on incorrect sizing selected by the customer.

If you are unsure about sizing, please contact us before placing your order.

6. Colour & Appearance

Hair system colours are represented as accurately as possible, however slight variations may occur due to screen calibration, photography lighting, and natural hair colour variation. Minor colour differences are not considered a fault and do not qualify for a return.

7. Privacy & Personal Information

Hair Direct ZA respects your privacy and complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Personal information collected during checkout is used solely for order processing and communication purposes. We do not sell or share your data with third parties. All transactions are processed through secure, encrypted payment gateways.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on hairdirect.co.za — including images, copy, product descriptions, and branding — is the property of Hair Direct ZA. Reproduction without written permission is prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

Hair Direct ZA shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products. Our liability is limited to the value of the order placed.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.

11. Changes to These Terms

Hair Direct ZA reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
